it's 'bak-chang' time
well, it's bak-chang time ('duan wu jie') tis sun... that's when the price goes sky high
why muz we chose this time to eat bak-chang (as though it's seasonal)??? to remember 'qu yuan' (i think something like this) or jus for the sake of queueing =)? does it taste better tis time than the rest of the days? can't quite understand yet (hv to fetch mum to katong to buy her bak-chang)...well got to follow our chinese tradition
but here's one that we had during our taiwan trip...it's quite different from our local taste ;) and it tastes better and it comes wif sauce on them
